I read this on Blabbermouth.net today. They haven't sold enough to go gold. I wonder where they shipped them to.
VAN HALEN: 'Best Of Both Worlds' Retrospective Certified Platinum - Sep. 14, 2004
VAN HALEN's two-CD retrospective, "The Best of Both Worlds", has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), signifying shipments of more than 1,000,000 units.
A 36-track overview of more than 25 years of VAN HALEN recordings, "The Best Of Both Worlds" contains three brand-new recordings with VH's second singer, Sammy Hagar, back on board.
As previously reported, VAN HALEN's classic live video, "Live Without A Net", has just received a DVD release in the U.S. The concert was filmed in New Haven, USA in 1986 during the band's first tour with then-new vocalist Sammy Hagar. The video remains a favorite among fans and to this day is a spectacular watch.
