I thought it was a great interview. I think it took big balls to come right out and say "You guys were sucking the night I saw you" and "I can tell you don't like singing the Roth songs Sammy cause it looks like you don't even try". Not in those exact words, but that's basiclly what he was saying.

If he was just an ass kisser nothing like that would have been mentioned.
-We have enough youth. How about a fountain of "Smart"?

-If you can read this, thank a teacher....and since it's in English, thank a soldier.

Would love to see an interviewer take Sammy to task the next time he claims how many records he sold with Van Halen by giving him the stats. While Sammy is stammering, he can then turn to Alex, and inquire, "You may be the leader of Van Halen now, but that wasn't always the case. Considering the half-filled arenas on several of the venues on this 2004 tour, the less-than-stellar response to the three new tracks with Sammy Hagar and the bands current DOA status in terms of creativity and new output, what do you really have to lose by getting back together with Roth? Wasn't this band more successful on all counts when Ed and Dave came up with the tunes and you were just the drummer?"
