I thought about getting in touch with him somehow, and I thought maybe through his record label? (Magna Carta I believe?) Send Magna an email saying please pass this to Roth and write something. Surely if one person sent one message, they might pass it on?? They must be able to contact him - email, postal address, at a meeting even. It could work..............

No, it doesn't suck at all to idolize Dave. Never felt that way once. It's been nothing but great music and great laughs.

Arrogance or confidence? Maybe both. Either way, I don't think he is unappreciative of his fans at all. What do you want from him? He's been on tour in '01, '02, and '03. Do you think he did that for money? Dave doesn't need money. Dave doesn't need to tour. Dave could do nothing else for the rest of his life and still be a legend.

Perhaps if he put out another greatest hits with three shitty new songs on it and went on tour and fucked over his fans with overpriced tickets and rip-off star packages and then got drunk every night and put on a half-assed show; you would think more of him. Would that make him appreciative in your eyes?
