i like #8...shes the woman...you hear the mean street roots in that song. especially when dave screams "im gonna love her"..each and every day....woah, thats high!!!!
funny how you can hear all the influences from the 70''ies like sabbath, zep and even a bit of deep purple in that song...and the original horn that was used on the record for the beginning of "running with the devil"...and you can hear mr $immon$ influence when dave sings "pain" with the demon's voice...

I love how they use that "air raid siren" type sound after the chorus, and how it sustains at the end.
Looks like the original plan was to have the ending to "House of Pain" drop right onto "Runnin' With The Devil", but ultimately the two tracks were made separate and distinct.

1984 version only because of the amazing solo at the end. Just as the solo's fading out there's an amazing lick by Ed ,which you can barely hear, wish that song wasn't a fade-out. I think it's a tie for me: 1984 version has the best solo and they're better than all those lead breaks in the demo version but the demo version is far more aggressive and Dave's lyrics are better than the lyrics in the 1984 version
