    OZZY, ABBA Sing VH's "Jump"

OK, neither one of these is exactly what you'd call spectacularly inspired bits of work (the Ozzy one in particular is a bit of a flub considering Dave's slowed-down vocals and the clumsy mix of the guitar solo, which sort of just awkwardly fades out), yet it is interesting to note how well the vocal lines from "Crazy Train" and "Super Trouper" fit when superimposed over "Jump."

For cryin' out loud Van Halen, hurry up with this new album, already.

Chef I love you but this is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen - mashups are crap and putting ABBA with Van Halen makes one mass of bloody stinking vomit. ABBA!!!!!!! Holy shit I'm going to be sick.

    Oh dear.

I'll give the Abba mashup a B+ for effort...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Atrocious, yes. But still better than the Van Hagar version of Panama.

Ozzy + Jump works, ABBA not so much.
                      For the record, I can't Dave 55.

Van Halen and, er ... ABBA

I know already that many of you hate these mash-ups, and many already hate 'Jump' as well, but I have to say that after 2-3 listens this is pure genius - ABBA and Van Halen. I am not ashamed to say I love ABBA (in part, certainly), and no I am not gay ... ('not that there's anything wrong with that Jerry')

I guess if it was to fall apart with Dave again, they could just get those two Swedish ladies out of retirement ...

I know every ABBA tune from having my mom drive me around back in the day and she wore the fuck out of that 8-track. yeah, moms car had an 8-track player in it.

ABBA was offered more money than The Police & Van Halen were to do a reunion tour and they declined it. Not sure the backstory there, but damn....that's a lot of ca$h to say no to.

I think it was something insane like $1 billion and that was quite a few years ago.

There's an argument that there is a moral prerogative to earn $250 million for 6 months work when you could use it to save 50 thousand lives in Africa or whatever.

Since they were all fucking each other and one is now a recluse I guess it's a very complicated situation. I was about to say they may have been shit too but that doesn't really come into it these days. Remember Michael Jackson only planned to sing for 15 minutes of his last tour and mime the rest...
