I think this definitely has a bit of the Me Wise Magic feel to it, and I don't mean that in a bad way at all.. The vocals are killer - Dave sounds great! Can't wait to hear the rest of it!

I've listened to the full song many times now. It's a very cool tune. Kind of a slow burn with a big sound. The lyrics are very good. As I said before, a real catchy hook and chorus and a good EVH solo. But it's not quite stellar. We are all exited and caught up in the moment and that's great but the rest of the album has to be much better than this single or it's going to take a lot of flak. It's still better that anything since 1984,

To me MWM and CGTSNM felt forced and this feels like the real thing.

I always thought they sounded like Van Hagar songs with Roth singing and lyrics, this doesn't which is the biggest relief.

I hope this is as commercial as it gets though...
