I was at the game tonight, but my buddy texted me to say they used "Blood and Fire" as intro music into a new inning.

Brian Anderson: "That's VAN HALEN! New Van Halen!"

Bill Schroeder: "From my day, who'd have ever thought!"

Hopefully someone was DVR'ing the game.

While watching the pre-game show before the Cards - Cubs game last night on Fox Sports Midwest ,
I couldn't help but notice that they used " Blood And Fire " in the background while showing highlights from the previous game . Cool stuff !

looking through the setlists, it looks like i caught 1 of just 3 times they played this live. i'd have been fine with the trouble with never. great song. but kinda crazy that my favorite tune on the album prior to the show, which is sparringly played live, is done at the 1 show i'm at. and i'm still stoked.

how awesome that i see van halen live and they play a ton of great, classic tunes, and my most exciting moment was realizing they're playing a brand new song? hands off the clock, indeed...
