That is the one thing I always wondered....she is not here to discuss David Lee Roth or rock music or
    anything vaguely relevant.

Move this thread somewhere else if it gets in your way here...I commented long ago that this thread did not belong here...I am amazed it is still here....

    :D

Ok so now just leave us be to play with this Katydid thing. It really gets quite irritated by the most juvenile of emotional triggers and the most basic psycho-neurological maneuvering.

We want to explore it more, and marvel at it's low IQ...

Personally, I dont' care if she's here or not. What I do get pissed about it people insulting Catholics in general because of some troll who is messing around with you guys.

You'd have to talk to the webbies about why she wasn't banned.

And I'd move the thread to non if I could, but I don't mod this forum.

She was never banned ... unfortunately.

It's on my Christmas list though ...

So you're just poking sticks at a caged, quite stupid animal to see it's reaction?

I had no idea you were doing this in the name of science.

          Please carry on. :D

Better send it to Hitchworld (I would not want to sully the Hallowed Halls Of The Sheep Pen™ with this filth).

Bien que le Dictionnaire du Webster indique que le mot est tire du mot il ne fait aucune mention de l'utilisation du mot pour l'individu ou le pluriel. For the record - I have tried, and I think I have succeeded, to not "insult Catholics in general" (or any other religion for that matter).

I was talking about the lot, not certain people in general.

I find that no matter how I put it, when I tell the truth about The Roman Catholic Church to Catholics, they get pissed at me.

But that is fine with me.
Everyone is free to believe as they want.

In fact...I believe I am gonna sit here and do nothing for a moment. With a small tubular device, with the right flame applied to a leafy material, one can truly communicate with God.

The first definition given in your post above makes no distinction between singular and plural. Only the second part of the second definition (thus the third of three) makes any reference to the use of the word as a plural form. As I said, and I am sure you understood given your obvious intellect, the hair you split may have resonance if I were speaking in french. Nice try though. A- for effor and for paying attention to minutia.

Haven't made me mad with your "truth", just how you generalized Catholics before.

Have you figured out what translation of the bible we use yet, btw?

OH I see - you looked up the word "bourgeois" to find out that the plural form of the word is "bourgeoisie". Perhaps it is I who needs the lesson in minutia. Funny how when you look up the word "bourgeoise" it makes no reference to the fact that it is a plural form of the word "bourgeois". Why is this? Because when you are speaking english it doesn't make a difference.

Go ahead thinking you're correct, it's cute. At least they taught my how to use a dictionary in elementary school. I mean, your definition is all about being plural. An entire class, a social order dominated by bourgeois who make up the bourgeoisie...
