Think about it like this:

But...if said lamp is properly charged and turned on, yet there is no one there to see the light....does the lamp still emit light waves without the human brain to interpret them? In other words, does light exist in and of itself, or is it necessary to have some filter, such as the brain, your retinas, a camera, etc...for it to occur in nature exclusively?

I agree. It is a good policy for now until they think of a way to let REAL Van Halen and Roth fans in on the boards. Perhaps a 'prove' yourself method of some sort?
