It is possible to make 6 figures gross if you drive 12 hours per day 6 days a week and make top pay .
But after your expenses [fuel, food,insurance ,maintenence on your rig and paying for your rig]not to mention taxes[truckers pay all kind of fees and road taxes]and income tax ,you ain't rich .
And thats if you never break down , get sick ,take time off ,get tickets ,fail inspection or get screwed by traffic jams or road closures.

If yor father in law really made that kind of money , he

I have a friend currently who's an owner/operator and pulls in well over $100,000 a year and he takes about three weeks off every three months...
