ON this board they're saying they had a setting where it removed Rep Power to some ratio of Groans.Check it out, a similar thread on a different forum. I ran across this while doing a google search. Here

The thing I disliked most about the groan button was that rather than posting in a thread, a handful of people would elect to use it rather than voicing an opinion and thus contributing to the thread. Sure, no one is holding a gun to your head to respond to every post, but by the same token if you believe a post is "groan-worthy", it would be nice if you could explain why you think so.
