That is strange, as I can not get beyond post #26 (it literally stops loading roughly 3/4s of the way through the post). I tried refreshing the page, to no avail, and bear in mind I'm using No Script, which helps when a thread has a high number of taxing videos included.

Yep... I'm running NoScript, AdBlock Plus, and DoNotTrackMe, the combination of which pretty much keeps every nasty piece of shit in cyberspace off my screen, and the thread in question comes to a grinding halt at post #26.

So it's apparently a "mystery glitch" in the VBulletin code. Doesn't seem to be affecting any other threads, so far.

I made the observation and statement to VA other Mods saw it..I am not the kind to use PM for frivilous issues and certainly won't bother Sarge personally, we can continue it in this thread or you can come clean and say you have the same issue and start the thread I won't feel slighted or anything,...this thread is perhaps done because I think the issue in the, Pretenders Thread was solved hrs ago.

I will let you or others make the issue known furthur if need be, and start a thread if you wish but just me ...I am tired somewhat of making statements about issues here and standing alone in the line of fire.

Those are on a site topic, discussing type level. I am not going to start bagging on the software that is out of my expertise. I tried that once and got strangled.

I actually don't have that problem. I am most often on my iphone which is much slower then my laptop and I am often in shitholes that have no connection anyway.

But what the hell, I'll take this up, for you. I'll start a thread in feedback. What was the problem again? You only want the chat on the front page cause it makes all threads load slower, right?

I notice Twitter embed scripts seem to make it impossible to respond to a thread occasionally, too... thought it was just a Firefox thing.

va or chef, if you prefer to fix it yourselves, you should be able to edit it at this point and close the iframe tag. You should also have sarge disable that. People can embed videos using video bbcode tags

On YouTube and a few other sites, yes. But that doesn't work with some other sites like MSNBC, or Comedy Central. Gotta have the Daily Show/Colbert Report clips! And I'm not sure about Vimeo, which has been how some of the official DLR/VH content was posted (as well as the Bill Moyers episodes in The Front Line)

Maybe if there was a popup message that said "CLOSE YOUR GODDAMN TAGS, ASSHOLE!"
