I have Val's cookbook. It even has some of Ed's mom's recipes in it. Indonesian stuff. Val has a lot of Italian dishes. Easy to get fat on all that pasta.

I'd be curious to find out how much - artist usually gets 50% so maybe 1/3 (no Mike) of 50% of $500k as it's the lead song in trailers and so on using the original recording?

From Monk's book I got the impression that Mike was the most down-to-earth and probably was the best with not pissing away the money he made...

Bottom line is though that he didn't write the songs and he's not short of money.

He seems happy. He's been married to the same woman a long time. Eddie once said Mike was the family man of the group. Yeah he might have signed his royalties away and missed out of a few million dollars but he seems fine.
