Still going on about the electoral college? Look, Hill Dawg has been on record calling for the abolishment of the electoral college. I agree you can't claim illegitimacy of the Electoral College now after the election because that's how it works, but it's a dated and insulting system and while I do not agree with any violent protests I can see why people would be pissed off in this day and age where there is some nebulous middle man between the "unwashed masses" and the candidates...

We also DON'T have a lot of things that actual democracies have such as run-off elections (for close ones) and plebiscites, which makes Congress less important. But the Republicans certainly aren't about to do away with the electoral college since it seems the only way they're going to win from now on...

P.S.: and oh yeah, you don't think Trump would be bitching about the "crooked system" if you won the popular vote and lost the college?
