You know, it's far from me to criticize an atheist but gawd are they becoming just as annoying the Christians they claim who are somehow "victimizing" them by simply putting up a Nativity scene. And Gervais is nothing more than one lucky drunken cunt. Unfunny, too.

Like I said, round up every Christian and atheist, put them on an island together somewhere far, far away from the rest of civilization armed them both to the teeth and let them fight it out while the rest of us live in peace for once without having to endure another word of their rhetoric bullshit.

I still like the traditional Christmas. I think people go way overboard on the commercialism of it. I think the atheists are too anal about fighting it. But I love Christmas when not overdone. People just need to relax and have some fun. Jesus was long replaced by Santa Claus anyways. Ho! Ho! Ho!

I agree there's no victimization by putting up a nativity scene... What makes atheists think exclusion and out-right banning things that are part of the American cultural fabric is a viable approach. So you don't believe in celebrating that way... live and let live.

Isn't that what freedom is all about..?

Atheists don't use "rhetoric bullshit", they simply don't believe in fairy tales. It's as simple as that.

I don't feel "victimized" at all with this issue, regardless of anyone's religion... If you want to believe in the talking snake and fork over your hard-earned money week after week to the guy with the BMW's and the mansion(s), feel free....

Exactly. It's often the people who say they want diversity that want to actually stop everyone else from enjoying diversity because they don't agree with their particular diversity.

Yes they do. I have yet to meet an atheist who doesn't moan and bitch at the first sight of a crucifix.

That's because Atheism has turned into a Religion.

Hi, I'm VA, nice to meet you....

I choose that ANY religion doesn't effect ME. My opinion that all religion is the biggest scam and waste of time and money in the history of mankind is just that, my opinion.

But it's just that, I don't give a flying fuck about any religious symbols at all, as long as they keep it out of my space.....

Not all atheists but the ones who support communism are being pulled into that lie again. Communism is trying to come back in a big way. Most the school kids today have no idea what they are supporting. They need a good chat with someone who had to escape East Germany, Cuba, or flee Cambodia to learn what the schools failed to teach them.

I wished people a Merry Christmas in San Francisco and it really pisses a lot of them off. They will go,"We say Happy Holidays here." The Mexicans are still into it though. You can wish them Feliz Navidad and they are cool with it. The Mexicans are taking over California anyways so Happy Holidays will be replaced with Feliz Navidad in the future.

At my office we had to stop calling the Christmas party the Christmas party. And within two years everybody quit going. We were actually told not to say Merry Christmas to each other cause it might offend somebody. What a load of shit. If your particular religion has a holiday that gives out presents then I'm all for it! Besides, to most people Christmas is Santy Claus, and parties and presents and booze. All the good stuff. What's not to like.

I never understood what's so offensive about wishing another person well through the prism of a Pagan/Christian/Retail
