I've seen WAY too many highlights of this man to list, but one in particular stands out.........he threw the possible go ahead run out at home plate in the top of the 9th inning. In the bottom, he hit a game winning homer....off a lefty named Mike Myers who previously had owned him.....on his birthday.............

          Oh yeah, I remember him...

He's the one who couldn't throw Sid Bream out at home to lose the '92 NLCS.....

I was at David Cone's perfect game when he was on the yankees. He was probably the greatest player for a day that i've ever seen.

However, the greatest player I've ever seen play is Michael Jordan, but the game I saw him play in he stunk (as the Jazz lost to the Wizards)

The guy had radar. Believe me he is not a big guy,

and everyone on opposing teams wanted to nail him.

And he rarely got hit. That is a gift, and he could score at will.

Lemieux did all of that, at 6'5"....

People who tried to hit him, THEY fell down....

Man, it tears me up to have to say this as a Packer fan, but:

                          Probably Walter Payton.

I saw him live several times and he was just phenomenal.

                          Walter Payton, RIP.

Gotta go with Walter over Bird and Gretzky.

                                Tiger.

I watched him win his 3rd straight Amateur Championship in 96' at Pumpkin Ridge. http://pumpkinridge.nemexinc.com/golf.cfm#

You really have to see it live to fully appreciate the things he does.

#15, par 5, 550 something yards from the back, slight dogleg left with a big group of oak trees at about 250 yds down the left side. He pulls out 3wd. You see that and think "ok, he's going to put one in the fairway that'll give him a good position at laying up his third shot with a comfy SW.".....Well, NOT. Fuckin kid swings that thing like a lightning bolt, sends the ball up and OVER said trees on left, fading it back on to the fairway and procedes to hit a 6 iron to the green about 230 yards away. Makes the put. Eagles the hole. Fuck you Tiger woods. I think about that every time I play that hole....from the blue tees, not even coming close with my driver to where he was with his 3, from the BACK tees.

Kiss my ass punk. Fuck, he's just awesome.
