That was indeed a close one. But if it was me, I wouldn't have given that a try. The player's leg was well over the line before the grounding of the ball, just not sure if it had touched the ground or not (and didn't they replay it an awful lot). My instinct is that the leg would've at least shaded a bit of the turf on the line area. But then again I couldn't bring myself to give it a try either, because then the other side would complain.

Just wondering, I know with the current rules of Rugby League here in Australia, usually in such situations like these there's an onus of giving the benefit of the doubt to the attacking team. Does this apply to Union also?

Yes, can you tell I'm very happy?

In the last five years I'd say that the Aussies, New Zealand and Great Britain have been fairly evenly matched - there's not been a welath of difference between them which has made the internationals interesting.

But GB are playing their legs off at the moment, and the Blacks just didn't have any dynamism. Their speed of play just isn't quick enough, which makes them easy to defend against.
