The Finals ratings will be the worst ever. If the Spurs would go to the Finals every year, the NBA would go bankrupt. Nobody understands my poor Spurs. Bet Stern wishes the Suns were in the Finals now, right David?:p JK....

WHY are the last 3 years his best?

        As for the finals...

There's not much I can say to refute the East vs. West.

I don't totally agree with it.

        Miami did win last year.

As good as San Antonio is playing, I DON'T think they are anything all that special compared to year's past...although the top three are pretty damn solid.

But the Cavs are doing NOTHING...

Scola will school Amare on how to play the pick and roll. The bottom line is.... Steve is 0 and 5 against the Spurs. Steve will be 35 next year right? He Is getting heavy minutes in the regular season to make the Suns record look good, but he wears down in the playoffs. Again, that's the Suns fault. Nash is getting old. And no big money to get a quality back-up. I see you guys trading Marion. Every year the Spurs shut him down. Man, what happened to Barbosa? We made him into a one trick pony. Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson once said "Offense sells tickets, Defense wins Championships." Take care....
They may have a good GM, but Colangelo just left there last season to take over a WOEFUL Raptors team that had big success this season. No way is he "better".

The Showtime Lakers didn't play defense, they won championships. So its not necessarily the only factor.

Duncan has had a damn good career, but all athlete's in all sports are playing older now, and Nash's last 3 seasons, he has won the league MVP twice, Duncan's were 01-02, 02-03. Duncan 2 out of the last 4 years in the Finals, which is excellent also.

Amare lost a game due to a crap suspension, but check his numbers versus the Spurs.

The level of competition is much higher. Last year the Mavs played 2 brutal 7 game series against the Spurs & Suns, before going to the finals. I know I'm biased because my team is in the west. But to me, that's 3 finals in a row the Mavs had to play. I think the top 5, maybe 6 playoff teams in the West, would beat the Cavs. The 6, 7 and 8th spots in the East had a losing record going into the playoffs. None in the West. The 5th seeded Rockets had the same record as the 1st seeded Pistons. The West will even better next year, with Portland and Seattle. Not to worried about Durrant. I read that he couldn't bench-press 180. Another Chris Bosh. Skinny forwards in the West don't cut it, ask Garnett. Then again, Duncan has 3 years left before he starts to slow down. So Durrant has a chance. This is just my opinion. What do you think POJO?

Last I saw, Bosh was an All-Star, and Toronto had a storybook season. If Garnett had some help it would be different. If Duncan was all alone, he'd be nowhere as well. He's always had help. No one does it alone. Ask Kobe and LeBron.

The basketball weighs maybe 6lbs. How many times can Durant lift that, including from 3.

Check the Spurs record against the East. Not even close. Bosh is a good forward in the East, check his stats/record versus the bigger forwards in West, You'll see what I mean.

Garnett did have help for 3 years and still choked. Especially in 2005.

Take away Duncan, the Spurs are not in the Playoffs, in the East, maybe a 3rd or a 4th seed.

Ha Ha.. That's funny. If he can't push up 180, how in the world is he gonna push out Duncan.

Come on man, admit it. If the Spurs were your team, you would love them. They wouldn't be boring to you. They are a modest and humble team, that plays the right way (as Larry Brown would say) on and off the court. come on guys, lets applaud them for this. Who would you like your kid to grow up to be like, Duncan or Iverson? Show some love for the most "Boring Dynasty in Sports."

Durant wouldn't be guarding Duncan anyway.

Different positions ENTIRELY. Are you high?

You are comparing the two one on one?

Who was the champs last year? The HEAT?

                    They in the West?

The Pistons were one Horry 3 pointer away from taking that series back to Detroit and being up, don't give me that shit.

You are changing course here and wasting my time. You were blowing air about the GM at San Antonio and how superior he was to the GM in Phoenix. Colangelo turned the Raptors into a division winner regardless.

What help did Garnett have? Gimme a break, that may have been your WORST point.

Tell me that you know Tim Duncan personally, so you want your kids to grow up with a stellar point guard, shooting guard, HOF coach, and David Robinson for his first few years to play with and learn from?

Keep the arguments you make on topic. Nobody even began to say Durant would be playing Duncan in the post.

You're a homer, we all are.

The Spurs 20-10 against the East?

Big deal, Dallas mopped that. Utah was a game worse at 19-11 I believe. The WHOLE West is better than the East, not just the Spurs.

Hell, Detroit was 17-13 against the West, thats only three games better.

                      Iverson?

                      I never mentioned Iverson.

Ratings are down 24%, its boring to the WHOLE country.

Well, I destroyed my brain cells in the late 70's early 80's, listening to Classic Van Halen. What can I say.....

Never said that. I't was just an example. That's all. My God....

I loved that you brought up my main man, David Robinson. You are right my friend, he learned from the best. As of 2007, he has given more of his OWN money to charity than any pro athlete in history. 12 million and counting. Throw in 3 more million from his "David Robinson Foundation." Now that's a role model. Not just for sports, but for humanity.

Not that much contact, and it didn't affect the shot I didn't think. Way less than the no call against the Pistons, and just like then, in the last ticks of the clock, its going to have to be a lot more contact than that to get a call.
