I meant Sega Genesis NHL games. Have they really scaled back the cartoonishness in the EA games? The last one I got was 2002. I had every single one up to 2001, then didn't get 2001.

the newer ea ones are much much better. in depth gm where you sign contracts and get upgrade to have the players play better higher lawyers to have them sign for less money etc. i think the sega ones became the espn hockey this year

yeah you start off (depending on the team) with a law clerk then you cna work you way upt something like full time international partner.better the lawyer the cheaper the players sigh for. the also had catagories for: scouts, medical, coaching, marketing, equipment, strent h training, travel, home rink and morale.you earn upgrade points for winning the cup and games etc etc. rent ea nhl 2004 and see if you like it. 2005 i think will have a similiar set up

                              Glad to help EVHF.

Does seem like a lot of activity for such an uncertain off-season.

The Devils must've read your post ALinChainz and decided to add to their list. :D

The Devils re-signed defenseman Brian Rafalski to a one-year, $3.1 million contract Thursday to avoid a salary arbitration hearing scheduled for today in Toronto.

Rafalski's new deal represented only a $100,000 raise from the $3 million option year on his old contract, which he declined in order to become a restricted free agent July 1.

Rafalski, 30, posted six goals and 30 assists in 69 games last season. He was to be the last of three Devils to go to arbitration this week.

Center Scott Gomez was awarded a one-year, $2.9 million contract Tuesday - a 190 percent raise from last season. Defenseman Scott Niedermayer's hearing was held Wednesday and the ruling is expected today. He could receive a one-year contract in excess of $9 million.
