Kinda....the house is pre-built in a factory and the pieces are assembled on site. I think they call it modular construction.

They talked about it on the 60 minutes interview he gave a few years ago.

Try a Google search for "prefab cabin". A good portion of them are little more than rectangles, but some of the others look pretty damned impressive.

I have to imagine it would be a better way to build a home......built in a factory so weather isn't an issue. Quality control because it's built on an assembly line and so on.

I've had to let houses sit for days to get the studs to dry out........there's no way I'd drywall a home with wet wood. A recipe for disaster......

i looked at a modular last year. liked the layout and the space, had a two car garage on the front...but my mortgage broker didn't work with any lenders who had a program for modulars.

Which is very odd because it's on a foundation and considered Real Property.

When I was putting double-wides on properties, I ran into the same problem. I stopped doing it because.....I had the buyers but couldn't get them financed.

You called that one right, Craig!

                    Burton's engine is toast.

Guess what? There are nine cars in the race using engines from that supplier. Stewart was following someone from Childress earlier in the race, and the entire front end of Stewart's car was coated in oil after drafting with the guy.

This race is unbearable to fucking watch...

It's like watching two-man fucking bobsled races...

Yeah....without the comic relief of the Jamaicans being there.

The base of the house was modular...as he said...it's a "tricked out" modular home...

He built a mansion at some point in 2009...on his 150 acres...

If I remember right...that modular home had a bedroom that he essentially gave to Truex...
