Hey, whatever happened to Kaz Sasaki? He's not with the Mariners anymore. My buudy and I went to see Bonds last year at Safeco field and I was watching Sasaki warming up in the outfield. That fucker could throw almost the entire distance of the field! I could only dream of throwing it that far.
I think he's back in Japan pitching...if I'm not mistaken...
couldn't handle the big boys...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."
My buddy wants to get to Safeco like 3 hours before the game to see Bonds BP, Bonds is his fave. We are in the outfield and Bonds comes up. Hitting grounder after grounder. My buddy can't wait anymore, he goes to take a piss. Sure enough I'm standing there, Bonds hits 7-8 dingers in a row. Balls are dropping 5-10 feet, 1 or 2 rows in front of me, people jumping over seats for these balls. I just stand there with this puzzled look on my face. My buddy comes out and I just start laughing. He knew he missed something. I told him there were a few balls dropped near me and he's furious I didn't get one for him. He still hasn't forgotten it.
I remember going to see the Angels play the Indians about 20 years ago...and Reggie was smacking them out...talking to the crowd...putting on a show...
he would yell over to the fans behind the plate...where do you want it...someone would yell...dead center...and he'd do it...
the only time I saw him that he wasn't an asshole...

Arod's a HUGE improvement at short for me...
Soriano's IMO the best 2B out there...regardless of what his stats say right now...
