Then again, we might not, considering Sharon might try to not let it see the light of day.

But, doesn't Tony "own" the Black Sabbath name?

According to Ozzy... it's Tony's. But, when you think about it, Sharon has become the main shot-caller as far as the original line-up is concerned.

Well, that's okay then, since the rumoured Sabbath-Dio box set won't have anything to do with the original lineup, obviously.

Wasn't the deal that Ozzy would do the reunion tour years back only on the condition that the Black Sabbath name was retired by Iommi, with the exception of the Sab shows here and there at Ozzfest type gigs?? That's why Tony came out with his Iommi solo albums?

The sound is AWFUL throughout the entire album! They completely BUTCHERED that show! I perfer Speak of the devil because (as someone pointed out) there is a raw energy you don't get on Live Evil... even though OZZY'S vocals were completely re-done in the studio.
I put my headphones on and checked this out. I wouldn't have heard it without looking for it, but it does sound like after the first verse and chorus that RJD's vocals are louder and more polished. Is that where the cut is? I don't hear any fade out.

That was the deal, so far as I knew...

That's exactly where it is... It sounds more like the vocals were taken from the studio verson and used.

I used to live around the corner from the Sanctuary Studio... It's on Beverly Blvd. in East L.A....

If anyone wants to check out a history of the Sabbath linup, check out http://www.black-sabbath.com/personnel/timeline.html

This guy really did his homework.

For instance, I never knew until looking at this that Ozzy left 2 times before Dio came in. Dave Walker of Savoy Brown actually sang for them briefly on a live TV show. Check it out.

Oh yeah... They do a version of Junior's Eye on that TV show.

A very preliminary one, anyway...it's a bit different than the studio version on NSD!...

My wife saw Jeff Fenholt for free in Portland, years and years back...only reason she was there was that it was a free concert and somebody drug her along with them...

She told me, a year or two after we were together, that she saw a singer for Black Sabbath live for free once and all he did was talk about how "evil" and "satanic" Black Sabbath were...I couldn't figure out who in the fuck she was talking about until she said "You know, the blonde guy! I don't remember his name!"...lmao...I said "Jeff Fenholt" and pulled up Joe Sieglers bio on the guy from his site and she had a pretty good laugh about him...

                        Funny story.

Jeff Fenholt should release an album called "Hooray for Gay".

                            HA!

Siegler's got an awesome fansite, I've been a fan of that place for years now...with that and the Black Sabbath Live Project, they're the internet's two best resources for all things Black Sabbath.
