Sammy & Mike summer tour

Sammy Hagar & Mike Anthony tour along with the Waboritas billed as "The Other Half". They play Van Halen music. 5150, Top Of The World, Right Now, etc... But they also play one CVH song every time....Running With The Devil. Probably Mikeys idea. As much as you may hate this, all Van Halen fans, from either era, have a chance to hear their favorite music. See Sammy on tour with Mike, or catch Dave on tour this summer.

Why do these guys get what the fans want? Eddie & Alex seem to have no clue. It's sad. It's their name out there yet they are the only 2 people on the face of the planet who don't give a shit.

And no, I'm not a huge Van Hagar fan. But there are many out there, and Sam is giving them what they want, just as Dave is giving us what we want. Props to Sam & Dave for keeping the music alive for everyone.

Just stating the fact that Sam plays his VH songs and Dave plays his VH songs. Both guys are out there playing this shit for the fans while the brothers do absolutely nothing. And it's their last name on the songs. You would think it would be the opposite. The brothers would be out there playing it while the different singers went their own ways.

The Van Halen brothers have become a joke. It's sad that they don't care about the fans, the music, or the legacy.

This thread was just as postive towards Dave. Both guys deserve credit for understanding that the music is for the fans. And don't tell me music is about making it for yourself. If that were true, then why release it on a cd for $16.99, promote it, and track sales? It's about the fans and always has been. Dave & Sam get that. Why doesn't Ed?

I don't think Sammy and Mikey playing RWTD is really giving CVH fans what they want to see or hear, although I'm sure the sheep will think it's great.
