Even if I am a Megadeth fan, I have to admit that Metallica have had more impact than Megadeth.....

In many years time who are people going to remember more, Metallica or Megadeth?

    probably Metallica.....most likely Metallica....

Metallica had better riffs also.....riffs should be about being memorable, not how complex they are.....

Of course Metallica had more of an impact.

That doesn't make Metallica better. Mariah Carey sold more records than Metallica did in the United States. By Matt White's logic, Mariah is better than Metallica who is better than Megadeth. I think album sales are irrelavent. I disagree on the riff thing though. Who fucking cares! I'm glad Dave got kicked out because we can enjoy two awesome bands.

one is just slightly more awesome

        I don't remember saying "Sales=better"?!?

        Does your pussy hurt MKA?!?:p

        Your a fuckwit...and a troll.

Try having something to say of interest...and people might be willing to cut you some slack.

Dude, the fight is over. No one is more upset about this shit than you are. Everyone else agrees that both bands are better, and a 15:11 ratio prefers Megadeth. It's really not a big deal. Just listen to Master of Puppets and I'll listen to Rust in Peace.

Seems somebody is bitter...otherwise why keep it going?:p

And remember....just because NOBODY bought it....it's STILL not a classic!

I do agree with you there.... "Rust In Peace"* - 781,000 album sales sucks. However, that is a pretty good number for being a thrash metal act in a genre where Metallica was getting all of the gold.

I never said Metallica was better.....I prefer Megadeth.....I just said Metallica were greater, there's a difference....

Let's just leave this argument now, it's getting old.....it seems like there's a Metallica vs Megadeth or Iron Maiden vs Judas Priest thread every week....

it's all down to opinion in the end, if you're asking who's better....

                          Aerosmith.... no shit.

The only reason my name is merrykiss.... is because kiss was my first favorite band. Also, when you say it fast it sounds like "Kiss my ass".

Yeah, somebody does seem bitter. Relax, man. You love Metallica. Point taken, but you will never convince some of us around here that they are better than Megadeth.

                                ...because they're not
