I know what you mean. It's ironic, Mustiane gets kicked out of Metallica because he's too drunk and they reckon that'll endanger their career, and now Mustaine has the higher work rate.

I'll always prefer Metallica, but they procrastinate way too much, they are wrting a record at the moment. Rubin works differently to Rock, he won't let them enter the studio till everything is written....

I think Newsted really called it when he said that the band getting a therapist to help them all with their issues was really weak and gay, or whatever...

Rick Rubin may work a miracle with Metallica, but I'll believe it when I see it...

Metallica seen a therapist............after that they maybe will be releasing an album of balads....love balads

they should see an assasing or a phsychopath.....or better, a phsychopath that also is an assasing and addicted.........that way maybe they will write a Trash song again

With the therapist issue, I think it was pushed on them by the managment, the same guys who pushed the same therapist on Rage Against the machine (not a lot of people know that.)

IMO, it was Hetfield who needed help, not the other guys. All that group bonding shit was BS as Lars essentially said recently when he noted that Metallica works today as it did in the 80's (ie a dictatorship of two), which was exactly what the theapist wanted to change.

Hetfield needed help, and I don't think it's gay to admit that - whatever your view of Metallica, if he's happier, good for him...

James really needs a therapist who will help him get in touch with his 1985 voice again...

Dude can still do it when he wants, it was Rock convincing him he had to sing that was the problem.

Some of the live stuff I've heard in recent years he's screaming his ass off!!!

                    Bob, do you like Megadeth?

I know you love doom metal stuff, and Celktic Frost, which was thrash, but I can't remember if you dig Megadeth.....

                        ...

                        Another Droogie here.

                        Megadeth or Metallica?

Easy - Megadeth! Any time, Any place.
Saw then for the Rust in Peace Tour (1991 - Rock In Rio II)

Love all the records, including Risk.
Some hidden treasures need to be discussed; "99 Ways to Die" is a damn great song. And the cover version of "No More Mr. Nice Guy" is a killer one. Hail Mustaine, the greatest Heavy Metal Philosopher!
TT: Wow, you can play acoustic guitar?
EVH: Sure. What's the difference? It's got six strings... It's a guitar! (31.12.1978)

Megadeth is better than any of Metallica's "thrash"
