Mastodon kicks ass. So does Opeth and Push Pull. You are right. They are really taking it all to new places.

Check out my bands page and listen to She Dreams Of You. www.myspace.com/state or www.sonicbids.com/state Would that be considered heavy as fuck?

Gojira, from France, has been called a death metal band, but I would define them more as prog/thrash. They are every bit as heavy, but their subject matter deals with things like the environment and how little people are doing to protect it. Check out their latest, From Mars to Sirius with it's absolutely gorgeous arrangements-that is if you can say such a thing about a thrash band. Not many newer bands get my attention, but these guys are pretty incredible.

Gojira's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

Well, I've been meaning to ask Bin just how heavy fuck is

          Sparkie like...has a Fu Manchu kinda vibe-and that's a good thing.

I do dig some Fu Manchu. We get a lot of Queens of the Stone Age references too. Thanks for listening! The new disc will be out in March.

Speaking of heavy as fuck...... Would Manson's Antichrist Superstar be considered heavy as fuck? That disc is incredible.

                True dat.

Johnny Cash didn't need big amplifiers or piercings to sound black as the darkest place in hell either...

Hell, even the Crash Test Dummies had a certain darkness, but, to me dark and heavy do not necessarily equate...unless you mean Neil from the Young Ones kind of heavy

Well, piercings certainly don't have shit to do with heavy unless somebody has a lead Prince Albert or something
