Nosuchluck, thanks for posting all the Black Metal stuff, it's a gap in my musical knowledge, but I'm digging those vids. I will have to check some of those bands out.

Vio-lence were fantastic. Not the best songs ever, but they played them with balls.

Robb FLynn went on to form Machine Head, who's Davidian has to be one of the best metal records of the 90's, if not ever.

Entombed are one of my favourite heavy bands. They started off as a solid death metal band, but then begin to expand what that term meant and released two critical records in the 90's. "Wolverine Blues" is death metal with a blues tones on the guitars, great songs. "To Ride Shoot straight and Speak the Truth" was almost a death band doing garage rock - an mazing record.
