On November 25, 2007, it was reported on The Vegas Eye website that Kevin DuBrow was found dead in his apartment that day. No further information was provided.[2]. Drummer Frankie Banali confirmed the death in an email to Spain's The Metal Circus.[3]Benali wrote:

"Please respect my privacy as I mourn the passing and honor the memory of my dearest friend Kevin DuBrow."

I know a lot of folks don't like his Rekkids..But I dig the first couple..Not on par with Van Halen or Ratt but still pretty good.

Y'know, Kevin had his ups and downs, but Quiet Riot was the first metal band out of L.A. to get signed, then hit #1. After that all the labels headed to lalaland to scoop up every single band on the strip and cash in. He has made a big mark in music. Not to mention his association with Randy R.... His vocals were iffy, and had a big mouth, but I, for one, am sad a bit. RIP Kev.

Don't really care for any Quiet Riot aside from the original lineup, but DuBrow was part of that. And 52 is too young to go.

Funny thing is though, I can't find any confirmation of this story, apart from blogs and less than credible tabloid sites like Metal Sludge and Blabbermouth. Hope it's not some fucking hoax.

Those are the three words that come to my mind when I think of Kevin DuBrow.

But it's ashame he died. I'll be interested to hear the circumstances.

I own a copy of "Metal Health"...and it's still lying around somewhere. I might have to throw it on for sentimental reasons.

Well, Kevin DuBrow has been a GREAT guy in recent years. He might have been an asshole before. But c'mon. We're on a David Lee Roth site. That shouldn't matter.

My heart sank when I saw this headline earlier today. Man, I was just thinking abou thim yesterday! I've been listening to a lot of Quiet Riot recently, and have been checking their sites a lot to see if they'd add tour dates. I wanted to see them so bad! Now I'll never get to.
