I found it amusing that the winner of the first season of this show packed her bags and moved out the second the cameras left. There was a big write up in the local paper about how her and her now husband (who she was engaged to throughout the run of the show) simply used the show as an opportunity to get her business of the ground (which it did) and "Make Bret Michaels look like a complete fool in the process, although he handled that pretty well all by himself".

is totally staged, the "BIG GIG" they show in Vegas
looked like there was barely 200 people there.

Hmmm tough call, I would say its a toss of the coin job.
They all came across as losers to me...
I guess Michaels house etc made him look somewhat cooler
than the contestants, but jeez louise... BM was pouring on

Yes Poison suck, but they always make me smile. If you just accept it for what it is (good-time music played by illiterates) it's not too offensive.
That being said, I've always quite liked Brett. Yeah, he's had his moments of pretentiousness, but from what I can tell he seems to have a sense of humour. And guys, like it or lump it Poison sold a lot of records - they had more than one hit for sure. My guess is that Brett is VERY wealthy.
If you take it seriously, the show is laughable - of course he's not looking for his 'true love'. But, like Poison, if you take the show for what it is (good-time television featuring illiterates) then it is perfectly watchable.
Could be worse, each episode could feature a CC Deville guitar solo!Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
