    25 or 6 to 4

    Chicago.

That, and the Temptation's opening riff to My Girl

Robert White, may he Rest In Peace.

    The Funk Brothers fucking rocked.

    What can I say? I'm 46

It was 1974 and I was all of 12.

Then I discovered pot and the Revolver and Rubber Soul Albums

It's been all down hill since then.

      That opening riff.....

I'd get my ass beat when I got caught with those old
ORIGINAL Buddy Holly and Chuck 45's out of their sleeves.

      She still has that shit.
Yeah, Buddy Holly. he was an innovator and really the arranger of the basic modern day rock instrumental trio...

I have to throw Bill Haley and the Comets in there too. I listened to the "American Graffiti Soundtrack" and another 50's retrospective collection: "At the Hop!" (I think) over an over on vinyl when I was like seven or eight...

It's never too late to do what you love to do, man.

Rick Derringer's "Rock 'n' Roll Hoochie Koo" was the first song that made me take notice of the guitar, but I was only five. Not too much later, I got into Kiss and knew I wanted to play. I started when I was nine. I kept playing till my mid to late twenties. I got involved in my career and my guitar just started collecting more and more dust. I still noodle around occasionally, but there are times that I really miss actually playing.
