MJ was always a thin man, however, you can tell he looks anorexic just by the way his pants drape his legs. They look like sticks!

Maybe its a good thing the tour never happened. If you want to compare Elvis, his last go around on tour was a disgrace. There, you had Presley lumber on, dazed, tired, bloated and fat.

At least Jackson's last tour in 1997, he was still able to sing and dance and look presentable enough.

This might have something to do with your letters to God asking him to take Sammy Hagar out in other threads... The big guy may not be slowing down and mixing things up and took out MJ. Then he shot again and over-corrected and took out Billy Mays...

Well, the video will probably be released so I'm sure we'll get a good look at how he was just before he died. As for the shows...all I know is that there were 50 of them. What was the spacing of them? I mean, was he going to be expected to do any back to back nights...say on a weekend. Or were they spaced equally over a period of many months.

The thing about opiates (if that was what Michael was taking) is they do cause many to lose weight. There are two main reasons for this. First - they work better, or have a stronger effect on an empty stomach. Second - they kill pain. Hunger, while it may not actually hurt until extreme cases, is a feeling of discomfort. Opiates mask that just as they mask pain from a broken bone or wound. They bind on brain receptors that sense pain & discomfort. So you take a lot of them, you don't feel hunger.

Found the tentative dates for the O2 London shows. Definitely a huge endeavor. The one nice thing is that they are all in the same exact location, same exact stage dimensions, no moving around city to city, plane flights, bus rides, etc... So Michael could settle in very similar to the Elton John, Celine Dion types that do long stints in Vegas. Definitely a lot less stress than 50 shows across the entire United States like the recent Van Halen tour. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying a sick or weak person could handle this and you would definitely need to be in decent shape. Just saying it wouldn't be as demanding as a traveling tour.
