No Izzy =no GunsAnd Roses. The minute that dude left, that band was done. How many great songs has Axl written since Izzy left the band? Izzy wrote a ton of lyrics in the early days. As time goes by, Guns just doesn't stand up to the test of time......One great album....(appetite)......one good album...(lies).....which one half....the Live Like A Suicide half was a completely fake live album with crowd noise added.......and Use Your Illusion which you can probably pull 8-10 decent songs off of and chuck the rest. I saw GNR open up for Aerosmith and Deep purple at Giants Stadium when they first broke...(Paradise city video) They were raw and great. Saw em again in 91-92 at MSG with Soungarden opening. First of all....Soundgarden was so loud it was rediculous and secondly, Axl pulled his typical bullshit and came on 2 hours late. That guy is the most overrated douchebag in music. Onle people like Eddie Trunk still think he's viable. He's a washed up hack with bad plastic surgery. You listen to Van Halen's first album and Appetite and to me, Appetite doesn't translate nearly as well 25 years later. It's a great album but it sounds so dated. Classic VH will never sound dated to me. Go away Axl.....nobody cares anymore. Chinese Democracy was the worst piece of crap I've ever heard......I didn't realize it takes 25 band members to sound like shit. Guns and Roses to me is like Mike Tyson......they showed up, took the world by storm, but in the end....were vastly overrated.

And once again, you are missing the point entirely. Why should fans be subjected to such crummy behavior in order to witness an entertainer's art? The entire "Oh, that's just Axl being Axl" apology holds about as much water as a cheese-grater. When a so-called musician's time is more precious to him than that of his audience, he needs to go away immediately. Instead, he's taking the "alienating his audience person by person" approach, which invokes the same outcome yet at a far more slower rate. All it does is to put a bullet point on his own personal cowardice, which in my opinion, is the perfect word to end this on.

I get that.You were a fan and he disappointed you with all the drama.I am guessing you were at a show when he didn't show or something?.But to answer the question,No I am happy enough with what i have.When I have seen the band they have sounded tight and Axl's voice has been great

Opening for the Stones in LA Coliseum night 2 - came out on time, great show.

With Metallica at Jack Murphy Stadium - a little drama, but not much. Great show although cut a bit short and a bit late to hit the stage.

Headlining San Diego Sports Arena. Supposed to be out at 9....came out at 12:15. Yes, 3+ hours late. Was with some friends & my girlfriend. We were able to bring her little brother who LOVED GnR. he was 13-14ish. Had strict curfew. We kept using the payphone to call his mom & explain they had not come out yet to extend his curfew. Finally she said no more, bring him home. He saw GnR perform the 1st 1 1/2 songs. Sad. Very sad. He looked forward to that show (his first) for months, and Axl ruined it so he could have a prime rib roast brought to him or something & dine backstage while we all waited & waited. How many kids that night had to leave before the 1st two songs?

Then after that show I watch the news & hear of Axl doing the same bullshit everywhere. What a dick.

And that is why I don't like the guy. He fucked over a good kid and I'm sure it happened to many others.

I remember Dave made some kind of crack about the 'lead singer being off his methadone' during the Madison Square Garden show.

At this point, I'd rather see Sebastian get back together with Skid Row than see Slash et al get back with Guns N Roses.

I belive Don King pushed extra hard to have Tommy Morrison declared HIV possitive and blew it all up, so he wouldn't have a chance at Tyson because King owned all the monies and knew that Morrison would beat the shit out of Tyson anytime any day....( consiracy theory, slander ,..whattever..) maybe...Tommy would have brought that left hook down on Tyson and he wouldn't have woke up.

King Knew Tyson would have a long carrer if he never fought Morrison.

I know he's a friggin Junkie......but I still enjoy watching Steven "Popcorn" Adler play...not that Adler is the greatest drummer of all time but he had a groove to him and a vibe.....Matt Sorum, who I saw sit in and play with Motorhead 2 years ago and was great I might add was always too mechanical for my taste......too bad Izzy is such a recluse......would love to see the rest of the original band go out and get a kick ass singer and finally put Axl to rest.....pipe dreams I know.

Tommy would not have been able to land his left hook,even on a past his prime Tyson.one glaring difference was the weaker chin of Morrison.he was always vulnerable to being scrambled by one good punch from what i recall.As tyson was a banger at that point,I would say Tyson KO in 5
