If there were any truth to the statements that the other guys in the band did not contribute much to their albums over the past 10 years, it is EASY to see why. They most likely did not want to see their ideas corrupted or outright rejected by Der Fuehrer.

He was under the illusion that QR was nothing more than his backup band.

He (like Spambot The Unprogrammable) eventually ruined QR. Same thing happened with Styx. Greed sets in.....LSD sets in....lead singer becomes tyrant, or tries to run the show, believes they are bigger stars than the band.....listens to record company assholes and dilutes and homogenizes the band's sound until it is a Gerber Food version of what the band once was.....
