Oh, and for the record "Empire" went triple-platinum - "Silent Lucidity" was nominated for a Grammy in two categories as well as hitting #1 on the mainstream rock charts and was Top 10 in the Hot 100 (Degarmo won an ASCAP Songwriter award for it too, IIRC). "Jet City Woman", "Della Brown" and "Another Rainy Night (Without You)" in addition to the title track are fucking awesome.

Sorry dude....your more than entitled to your opinion, but those songs are what ruined the band for me anyway. I could care less what won a grammy or not....the grammy's are a joke anyway. Once a band starts winning or being nominated for grammy's, their done. Queensryche was trying way too hard to be mainstream and to be considered for Grammy's. Silent lucidity is their version of Wind of Change by the Scorps. Garbage.
