From the late seventies to well into the nineties, I worked in auto parts after-marketing, so I heard all sorts of stories first hand. One that springs to mind involved the tv show Miami Vice. During the second season, producer Michael Mann got fed up with filming the black knock-off Ferrari Daytona kit car at night. So when (though a weird lawsuit) Ferrari donated two real Testarossaa in black to the show, Mann sent them to Earl Schieb for an el-cheapo paint chop on the quick. If you watch a handful of early episodes from early in the season after the Daytona was blown up and replaced, you'll be able to spot a white Testarossaa with black door jambs!

Listened to this. You can hear everything very well, though it sounds slightly muffled. And the vocals are in the background. Someone was in the center, away from the PA apparently.

Anyway, a couple of interesting things.

1. Singer sounds like he can hit all the notes, but has no power. I could be wrong, just going by what I am hearing on a couple of songs. Sounds like he has a weak falsetto for some of the highs.
But sounds ok I suppose. Am not hearing him in a real mix with the band, so I take my own opinion with a grain of salt right now, definitely considering this is a medium-quality boot with a bad mix.

2. One of the encores is Iron Maiden's "Wrathchild". And they TEAR IT UP! You think Tater would "allow" them to play Wrathchild? Probably decided to do it as a "fuck you!" to "mediocrity".

3. Set list plays the hits....but the rest is the heavier stuff and they sound like they are out to kick some serious ass. So I do wonder what their next studio effort will sound like.
