Moving Waves really is a great listen, full of fluid. gorgeous and at times ferocious playing. Interestingly enough, there is a brief, maniacally heavy metal, unaccompanied guitar solo somewhere within the "Eruption" piece, which sounds suspiciously similar to Moore's "Dirty Fingers" solo released years later, as well as serving as a blue print for what Ed would perform on the first album and just about ever since.

Did you ever think you might be the one with really bad taste in music ? I just looked at your list of guitar players. I'll give ya 3 of them. There is a reason Zeppelin has sold a ton of albums. And they don't sit on peoples shelves. Page is top 5 all time if you like him or not.Comment

I haven't seen the dvd but the bluray is stunning. DVDs aren't really HD. Blurays are. This was recorded for HD.
I think the sound has better resolution than DVD but some nerd will probably chime in about that. But yeah man get the bluray it sounds god damn THUNDEROUS in digital surround sound. And it was actually recorded for that unlike the stuff from the 70s.gnaw on itComment
