And why the complaints about song length?? Aside from "Paranoid", "Tommorow's Dream" and maybe one or two others, they weren't exactly known for being masters of the three minute single.

Ozzy is still capable of good live vocals, or was recently...

And it's not really the song length...

It just seems like Tony Iommi only knows how to write one song these days...

I hope the album proves me wrong...

Sounds like some Sabbath cover band trying their hand at writing their own "doom and gloom" Sab tune. Almost like a parody.

I think this ship has sailed......BUT hoping there are better tracks on the album.

Tony said he had a lot of riffs people haven't heard yet. I hope this wasn't his best one. Good song. Nothing special. Maybe it will be their Tattoo !

Well, it sounds good.... but it sounds like a bunch of retreads.

The first track could be "Electric Funeral pt II". Loner is the bastard child of NIB. Zeitgeist is Planet Caravan, pt II.

If this were an old Black Sabbath album on vinyl, I think I'd end up playing "side 2" more than "side 1".

I agree, I think album gains momentum at the age of reason. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the album. I'll write a full review tommorow after I give it another full listen.
