Again, he's not virtuoso but then he doesn't need to be. I'm am so sick of so many young bass players either trying to be Jaco or a lame Geddy Lee knock off. So, so fucking sick of hearing that shit. To me, a good bass player knows how to lock in groove and ground the rest of the band. His playing on Stanko's record is quite good and I find it to be great that there are still many young kids out there learning to play in traditional jazz footsteps. For that Morgan deserves respect.
