Well, if you're going to bring obscure Florida bands into this, you might remember this little band out of Gainesville. Bernie Leadon's brother was in the band, and the singer was some guy named Tom.... something or other.... wonder what happened to that guy?

Destroyer sucks. Everybody's jerking off to that album saying "whoa, that's genius!!"
No it's not.
If I had to choose, I'd pick Rock & Roll Over over Destroyer.
It's still no genius, but at least, it's got some Rock N'Roll on it.
Ezrin was grate with Cooper, but with Kiss???
Destroyer, The Elder, Revenge???
The first one sucks ass so bad, but it sold very well (happy for them)
The second one was a flop, no wonder.
The third one has been released at least two years too late.

I prefer Kiss when they play straight up rock 'n' roll - the records before and immediately after 'Destroyer' are consequently preferable to my ears. I sense that with the big production, however, 'Destroyer' would have been very much an 'of the moment' record in 1976 which stood out from the pack.
