Didn't they open on the 5150 tour? I know I saw them open for VH and they sucked. I'd also like to add Poison on here. I think it was Ratt they opened for. They played "Every Rose" 3 times because they said they were recording it and wanted to get the best version. So we had to sit through that 3 fucking times. Fuck, we didn't wanna hear it once.

Yes they did. Some festival type think in Europe. And Bon Jovi interview they say something along the lines of, that's when it hit me we had really made it. We were the biggest band in the world. We had Van Halen opening for us.

Some douchey band called Van Halen - when they opened for Jessica Simpson when Jessica was on her "Follow Your Dreams" mall tour.

        Bastards.

It was the Van Hagar debacle of 2004. Ha! I had to go. I thought it would be my only chance to see Ed live! Glad I was wrong about that 'cause he was horrible that night. There is a horrendous Panama video from MPLS out there somewhere to prove it.

BTW...I like some Nickelback and Creed songs, so suck it! I've met Scott too. Super nice guy! You shouldn't be so judgy!

You've got to be joking? How did they not get booed off the stage? There was probably garbage and beer cups being thrown by the third take?

Who opened for them? I saw the '04 thing. I think some band called Silver Tide opened up. They weren't bad, but just seemed too much like Buck Cherry which is really just a slightly heavier, sleezier Black Crowes.

Oh, I'll be as judgy as I damn well please, especially when it comes to that guy. He's just one in a long line of Layne Staley rip-offs who I absolutely despise. I hated him even more once I sat through that VH1 Rockumentary of Creed.

Sure, you could throw in a bit of 'shit like this gets signed, but we get nothing?' jealousy, but hey, I'm only human.

Well who opened up at your '04 show? Was it the same band?

Don't take my anger to heart. Failed musician flair up is all.

Lauren Harris opening for Iron Maiden was pretty bad. The music was like a cardboard cut-out of all the cliches of metal....

It's not an indication that BJ "made it", it's indication that Van Hagar is no better then Mel C.
