Hard Rock has really taken a beating these past couple of years. Hip Hop, Rap is dominating. It staggers the imagination. The days of the guitar hero are dead. The local rock radio station in my town has become talk radio. They actually hired a local comedian to do a show in the evenings. And of course the talk radio morning show. Every time I turn on the radio I here talk or Led Zepplin with a splattering of new music. No wonder kids today are listening to Rap. What happened to musicians that can actually play their instruments????? What happened to the guitar solo's???? What happened to goodtime kick ass Rock And Roll.
And I have nothing against Led Zepplin or Classic Rock, but the music industry has to allow some new music to breath into the radio stations, Hard Rock music that is. Hopefully Velvet Revolver and the new release by Judas Priest will reignite the scene. Van Hagar sure as hell, isn't getting the job done. What are your thought's fellow soldiers???
