Started a thread about the DVD the minute I saw that they were putting it together!:D

I'm pretty much counting the days 'til it comes out. A 2-disc DVD with a movie and two full shows, restored and remixed in 5.1? With documentaries, etc.? Considering I have no video footage of Marc Bolan at all right now, this is going to be my best summer DVD (besides the new release of JAWS, my favorite film!)

I don't know much NICK CAVE either, but this song just has a grip on me right now. It's so fucking haunting. I really hate that he died. How many musicians in their 70s are at artistic peaks? He could have made ten more great records with Rick Rubin if his body hadn't given away.

That's what it all boils down to in my opinion. I learned the hard way not to get involved in anyone's personal stuff here - so this post will be the last I say about it.

DG - you know I dig you and would never do anything behind your back. You're one of my faves here and one of the many reasons I keep coming back. I enjoy our conversations and think you're one of the best here.

FPC - I think you're outspoken and I dig you too. You're Bi-Halen, and that's fine - but your past slams on Dave have people believing you're someone you're not. I don't have a solution for the problem, but I won't be hopping on board the bash pussycat bandwagon either. You are cool in my book. My only problem is your sig - but that's your deal - I can't make you, nor do I expect you to, change it.
