NATRA AND RIKK'S POPGEAR AND BEER FUCKIN' DRINKIN' FEST

I'm just kidding.
Who am I going to root for here in Nashville? Vanderbilt? :D
No, I was just curious. We travel up there quite a bit for football games. It's a great atmosphere on Saturdays - one of the best in the country in my opinion. I'm just not a big fan of the zealots who didn't go to the school who live and die with the big orange bandwagon.
That and Philip Fulmer can be moody on occassion.
You didn't catch any of the recent fights any of the football players were involved in by any chance did you?

Well, I came from Mississippi to Tennessee to get away from the Hoity Toity atmosphere at Ole Miss and MIssissippi state, which is where EVERYONE I went to high school with went. So, I'm not one of those bleed orange types, because those kind (except in the case of Ole Miss) are the reason why I left MIssissippi! In MIssissippi they think that Ole Miss and Mississippi State are the BEST football there is. They care more about the Ole Miss vs, State game then any bowl games they MIGHT get in. It is highly hilarious...and so I wanted to go somewhere that had REAL football...so I chose UT (but also for academic reasons).
I haven't caught any of the recent fighting cause I have been out of that scene for awhile. I'm too wrapped up in the grad stuff.
I have always thought Fulmer was a pretty nice guy. My mom has met him a few times when he came to recruit her school in Mississippi, and he always was super nice.
Originally posted by SweetSecrets Well I hope it clears up soon! My dad broke a rib once, and said it was extrememly painful because there is nothing you can really do about it but let it heal itself.
Thanks Mary and it does suck. This is the second time within a year that I've fractured a rib. However, this time I fractured two and much more severely. It does suck cos they cannot put them in a cast due to lungs and all the swelling around major tissues. I could get more pain killers if I wished to do so but then I'm too funky to work out. I'm just walkin' away and tasting the pain. In an odd way, the pain feels rather pleasant at this point. lol.
Also, this "UT" stuff is driving me nutty cos that's the abbreviation for my state and I'm a grad of the U of U. Also known as the UTES. Confusing. lol.

Ah, yes - the Casey Clausen golden years. I remember them well.
I'm glad Rick is going to get a shot. He deserves it after last year.
Good luck on getting to Australia!!!!
I'm very impressed that you and Mark have been able to keep the long distance thing working. That's Love!!!!

I hated Casey! Most of us did. He was just a cocky push over. He never could quite pull it together. It was always quite frustrating at the games. We miss Peyton very much around here.
I don't know much about Rick cause I've been out of the scene now.
As for Mark.........
I never knew what love really was until I met him! I had an idea because I was raised in a very loving family with parents who were very much "in love".
But GOD...this IS HEAVEN! I don't ever want to die now (not that I did before), but I am totally into this life now with him. I love him forever. The year was hard, but it was nothing compared to our love.
