It was alright. Went by myself to visit fam. My grandmother is now settled home after being really ill. She's 85 so I went down solo to visit her. Stayed with my Dad. It was mellow but a lot of family visiting. I was happy to see her though.

I just went to Southern Utah. About a three or four hour drive. It all depends on how fast I go. I made it home today in under three hours. lol. It's right in the middle of the country. I have some land down there. I spent many summers there as a kid. Rode horses, hunted, fished and worked hard. It's "God's Country" as my late grandfather used to call it.

My Dad has now retired down there. It's always fun to visit.

Always cool to head home for a bit...kinda recharge the batteries!!!

That's funny Taeo cos I call my grandmother "Granny" as well.

It was a nice trip but due to the circumstances, there was waaaaay too much family for my own personal taste. I would've liked to chill a bit more. It was still nice to visit a bit.

Don't get me wrong cos family is stellar. This weekend was just overkill. Too many of the same people at the same time. My Granny tis'a spitfire too. When I was a minimus and acted up, she used to smack my gluteus maximus with a willow stick. lol. I usually deserved it.
