Mama and Daddy would walk and talk circles around the very large yard. Daddy had heart problems and had to walk...Smoking those Prince Albert cigerattes and coughing..

I'm after idiots. You're an idiot. I think only because your pal lms2 is posting so much in Non these days are you suddenly heading up here. Have you and lms2 considered moving over the CHELLE's? Neighbors and relatives would come and bring their guitars and and washbards, and fiddles. Tamberines, and a makeshift single drum thinge... We'd hang lanterns on the trees...People take turns singing...

Very, very old songs people nowdays never heard.

On Sundays old men would come with old flatbed trucks and one even with a team of mules and a wagon...daddy and them would gun trade, knife trade, even old straight razors...talk horse trading or hunting dogs...

Women would go to another part of the yard and talk church, birthing, dying, etc.
Recipes, usually came after a noonday meal visit till dark...

Kids would play soft ball in the field, go to the branch and catch crawdads, etc. Good old days.
