Most do.
I often see them TRYING to play a riff that comes accross as boring, strumming, crap.
And then when its time to rip into a solo, these cats stay away from doing one. Almost as if they're 'afraid' to see what more an electric guitar can do.
For many of nowadays bands, it's all about the big sound: switch it off and then what is left?

Some bands are slowy starting to realize that they need to change their style. My Buddy played me this one Band, called Avenged Sevenfold, And this one song sounded like a Nu Metal/Use Your Illusion Era GN'R hybred. Auctually did sound quite well.
The Good Stuff is slowy starting to wedge itself back into Rock, It will take a while though, thanks to Clear Channel and MTV.

800.i love pitfall and pac-man.i am laughing my head off.
i just wish time travel was possible so we could take some of these spoiled little bastards back in time to the heydays of our youth and show them just how much they don't know shit.

ARRRRRRRRRRHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
That shite is NOT R&B.
Its got very little proper rhythm and its got no blues feel. Where does it earn the right to be called R&B? And the singers sing with no soul.
R&B/soul is Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Jackie Wilson, Aretha Franklin (when she's not "singing the phone book"), Ray Charles (when he's not doing CUNTry music) etc etc. I'll stop now before this becomes a full-on rant.
I was talking to my folks about this just last night.
I think the difference between the kids now and us is every bit as big as us and our parents.
My Dad in 1946 would get a banana and a pencil for Christmas, in 1976 I would get maybe a couple of toys in 2006 it takes 2 fucking hours to unwrap them.
On soft toys I had a panda and a share of a bear, my 3 year old has around 50.
My folks had good jobs and we had a much lower standard of living than people on welfare now.
I was talking to friends with older kids and they were saying that they have noticed their kids always ring door bells with their thumbs rather than their index fingers and they put this down to texting on cell phones. I think for kids though that cell phones or mobiles as we call them are a double edged sword. How many times did you say 'sorry I forgot the time' or 'I would have called but there was no payphone' or 'I didn't have any change'.
It must suck these days as a teenager that you can't disappear...
