I get tired of being slagged on for being a citizen of the United States because we invaded a country for no reason and the people who made the decision to go in there were people I didn't vote for. So non of it is my fault, so leave me the fuck alone. Don't slag us for what the Bush Administration has done. I think invading Iraq has ruined an international trust we used to have. The US will never solve the Islamic terrorism problem alone. We will never defeat these horrific crimes against children as individual countries. We need to work together on many problems or we are fucked as a society.

There is common decency we can all agree on. We might differ on things like gay marriage but when it comes to human trafficing and slavery we all are on the same boat there. Why more isn't done about it. Why we don't boycott companies who purchase good from suppliers who indulge in it is beyond me.

We celebrate Martin Luther Day every year but yet slavery still goes on in our country behind closed doors.

I'm looking forward to the new administration, it's going to be my first chance to vote as well. I just think that it would be pretty hard to screw up as horrendously as Bush did. Hopefully when we have our new president they'll be able to put more money towards issues that matter like human trafficking and less towards senseless wars in countries that don't really want us there. As much as I do hate Hillary Clinton, I think that a woman in office would do more to stop crimes like these, Clinton wouldn't be my first choice (and I honestly think she has a penis anyway) but it would be nice to have a woman in office.

No. What I was getting at is one country alone can't solve illegal human trafficing, slavery, and international terrorism. All the United States proved is it can move man and machines around the world quickly and invade and take countries with our military might. What has it accomplished? Lot's of distrust in the international community.

It's frustrating because we no longer have the Soviet Union to worry about. Our only enemy in the world is radicle Islam and they are at war with the whole industrialized world. Even China is preparing for Islamic terrorism in it's western regions and training to deal with it.

9/11 should have pulled us together and by doing so, maybe we could fix a lot of other problems that just Islamic terrorism such as international black market child trading.

If you are from the United States it gets old. The US is a big country with a lot of different people and ideas. But like all things big, they are ran by a few people and idiots in the Bush Administration thought we could take Iraq, be the big heros, and secure lucrative oil deals with the new puppet govt. When the commander and chief of the military doesn't even know the difference between and Sunni and Shite Muslim then you know he has tottaly studied the region and it's culture in preparation for war. Sun Tsu said know your enemy. We sure as hell didn't. These same idiots want open borders letting anyone in which makes illegal human trafficing easier. How much is a young latin girl worth on the sex market? How much is a kidnapped caucasion girl worth? Loose borders not only encourage illegal workers but the worst criminals in the world to do business here.

Living in the States for almost a decade, I've made some great friends, interesting aquintences and my very best (girl) friend lives in Oakland Ca. My ultimate dream would be to afford a house at the beach and have my son grow-up in that "beach culture" surfing and all...

I get very irritated when some of my Canadian friends are rude enough to put every American in the same bag... like "Do you think my husband and I would make friends with Busheeps?"

That said, I never heard an American badmouthing Canadians in front of me (out of respect, maybe)... they couldn't care less!
