It's very uncool for the big majority of the U-S people that are simply good people... and somehow, victims of the system!

Although, the Republicans have been so offensive throughout the years that it makes it hard for people to be objective...

But it's not the case in THIS house.
"Dr. Rythm" and I... we love you guys!

    Again... Happy 4th!!!

I think it's pretty evident that the US has more than it's fair share of haters in almost every country. I mod on a website based in England, and I get a lot of hate just because I'm American.
There's certianly a lot of resentment, largely we have a stereotype of the "average" American: loud, brash, grossly overweight, gun totting, bible-bashing, ultra right wing trigger happy people addicted to plastic surgery. I may be overcooking it, but the "extreme" elements of your culture, the fringe parts, are taken as the norm.

Seriosuly, most people's conception is an American is based on extreme: the ultra-right Bible bashers, the ultra-dim and shallow Californian and so on. It takes time to convice people that Hollywood isn't America.

There's certainly a tendency to tar everyone with the same brush (or maybe Bush?).

But at the same time, I know a lot of "American-haters" who actually want to move to the US (on the misguided belief that California=America), so there's a lot of hypocrisy too.

It's all bullshit, people can't think outside of stereotypes...

I went around the world the first time when I was about 10 years old. I went to the Soviet Union when I was 12 years old. Not too many Americans went there in Communist times. I've seen revolution. I've seen Communism. I've seen poverty so bad people were putting their dead babies in the gutter. I've seen it all.

That being said, most people around the world are amazingly the same. The want a good fuck. Some material comforts. A good family life.

People outside of the US think we are all rich and life here is a piece of cake. Far from the truth. They think the way they think because they watch American movies and television.

As far as Iraq goes, Bush used his executive powers and got us into it. The US President has the power to start a war. Hell, he has the power to nuke someone. Bush abused his power as president and now the rest of the country has to suffer for it. As far as the America bashers go, they can kiss my ass. We have lost thousands of people and a major portion of a major city was left in ruins. A major govt. building was heavily damaged. We lost four airliners full of people.

All because some very small people had the stupidity to hijack those planes and do a major suicide stunt. What has it accomplished? Nothing.

If they keep doing it the political correctness will wear off and we will hate those people and a real war will start. This time not only with the US but every country they have pissed off.

It's Islamic extremism against the rest of the world. Do those fuckers think they can win?

So go ahead and hate us while the terrorists blow up parts of your country. It will and is happening. Yes, they are that dumb. There's two things that have to happen to end it.

          A) The greater Islamic community has to decide wether they are just going to sit there and do nothing or help irradicate the problem. and...

          B) The countries who are the targets need to decide to work together instead of blaming the US for everything.

This thing is far from over. The problem is bigger than Iraq. Iraq is trivial. It will come and go. The bigger problem is terrorists attacking us on a constant basis. If anything, Iraq has drawn some of those people there instead of to Europe or North America.

Do you really think they aren't going to bomb you because you got rid of Tony Blair and do you really think impeaching Bush/Chenney would make us safer? They attacked us during the Clinton years.

Really the president has nothing to do with the attacks. He just made bad judgements on what to do about them.

As David Lee Roth once said, "They want to kill us because they go to heaven." Simple as that. The thing is, they just aren't killing Jews anymore.

They hate us. They will play their games and recruit as many from their community as they can and as many traitors from our community as they can.

A mosque going Bosnian shot up a mall in Salt Lake City and was fortunately killed by an off duty officer. A father and son team were sniping civilians from the trunk of a car. Both were active in the Islamic community. A muslim opens fire at the Israeli airlines ticket counter in LA. This isn't random shit. This is being taught in the mosques right in our own country.
