It's considered a relationship when it goes to the higher level of understanding and getting along for longer than that.
There may be lust, and chemistry but if it feels like a sordid affair why persue it?
If there are shared feelings of respect and love, and the future is talked about and agreed upon, or disagreed upon early in the relationship then that will usually make a difference. And you will spin your wheels less in the long run.
You need to have a friendship with someone and get to know them before you have a sexual relationship. (sometimes this is learned by experience) If you find that you don't get along and agree upon certain things which are important to the relationship; then it's best to move on.Comment
