Once I had something similar to this happen, only it was with a female friend, not a girlfriend (either way, girls are whacko). Apparently she didn't get the sarcasm, and when I ran into her a month later, and I asked what was going on, she kept turning away from me and not even giving me the time of day. She wouldn't believe me that it was sarcasm. I thought it was obvious. I guess it wasn't. Whatever, she was a bitch in retrospect.
